Monday Night Advocacy Calls (During Senate Budget Hearings)
When the state senate convenes to discuss the budget in May and June, we hold Monday evening Zoom calls featuring weekly witnesses—such as foster youth and alumni who directly benefit from the legislation. During these calls, we:
Listen to firsthand stories.
Mute ourselves, then call or email senators who will review testimony that week.
Use our Advocacy Toolkit for actionable steps, templates, etc.
